Terms of Service

Welcome to Sticky ("App", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Sticky, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sticky, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and that you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Sticky is a social bookmarking application for iOS that allows you to:

• Save and organize URLs ("pins") into collections ("boards")
• Collaborate on boards with other users
• Search your saved content using semantic search
• Sync your data across devices via iCloud

3. User Accounts

Sticky uses your Apple ID and iCloud account for authentication and data storage. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Share content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, or infringes on the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other users' data, or our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use the App to transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App

5. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the URLs, titles, descriptions, and other content you save to Sticky. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Sticky, its logo, design, and all related intellectual property are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

6. Collaborative Boards

When you invite others to a board or join a shared board, you acknowledge that:

• Other participants may view, add, or remove content based on their assigned role (Owner, Editor, or Viewer)
• Board owners may modify participant roles or remove participants at any time
• You are responsible for the content you add to shared boards

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Sticky offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases.

• Free tier: A limited number of boards (as displayed in the App) with unlimited pins per board
• Premium: Unlimited boards, priority sync, and early access to new features. Feature limits and benefits for each tier are as described within the App and may be updated from time to time.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

8. Data and Privacy

Your data is stored in your private iCloud container. Semantic search processing occurs entirely on your device. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we handle your data.

9. Disclaimers

Sticky is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Link previews, metadata, or embedded content will always be accurate or available
• iCloud sync will be instantaneous or free from conflicts

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Your data remains in your iCloud account and is not deleted by us.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
